Development of methods for controlled transport of quantum vortices between annular superfluid atomic Bose-Einstein condensates. We will investigate the possible applications of controlled transfer of topological excitations in a lattice with annular cells to measure rotation and acceleration in a wide dynamic range and to process quantum information in an experimentally achievable system of qubits.
