The main goal of the work is to investigate modern successional processes occurring in the phytobiota of protected areas, which occur both at the endoecogenetic level (processes of self-development of steppe ecosystems), and those caused by climatic changes (in the broad sense) of recent decades. This will allow us to establish the specific features of modern successional rearrangements of the main isoreactive groups of phytocenoses, focusing on the further expansion of tree-shrub phytocenoses in order to develop individual algorithms of regulatory measures to preserve the natural zonal features of the steppes and forests dominated by Cretaceous pine, as well as stabilization at such a level of phytosystem organization that this territory became an object of conservation (reserve).
