Study subjects: structurized, stabilized with additions, modified with polymers asphalt concretes, bitumens, polymer cements, adhesive additions, standard documents. Study objective: to determine sanitary-hygienic and toxicological parameters of the new road-building materials, to develop measures for their safe application in the process of building, repair, and maintenance of automobile roads. Methods: analytical, toxicological, mathematical. There is a sanitary-hygienic assessment of complex chemical mixtures proposed for the application in road building. Their sanitary-hygienic and toxicological parameters have been identified. Measures for the safe application of the new materials and technologies in road-building branch have been proposed, sanitary-epidemiological examination has been performed, chapters on the issues of safety and environmental protection into the standard-technical instructions for these materials have been developed.
