Аim - study genetic and economic-biological characteristics of breeding material and creation of high-yielding, tolerant to diseases of red clover varieties with high adaptive capacity. Methods of research - field and laboratory methods and mathematical statistics. As a result, created a new source of research material, color sortozrazkiv promising winter-hardy in excess of commercial varieties for a number of agronomic traits. Created and transferred to UIEVP new high-yield variety of red clover with working title "Fajna". Description variety: seed yield - 0,65 t / ha, yield dry matter - 16,2 t / ha, content of protein - 18,51 % , weight of 1000 seeds - 1,6 g, period of recovery time from the spring growing season to harvest maturity - 105 days , the number of cuts - 3; winter-hardy - 9 points, resistance to shattering - 9 points; foliage - 48%.
