In the course of work over the theme "The ways of enrichment and the evolution of lexis of Romanic, Germanic and Baltic languages" significant scientific results have been achieved: the main thematic characteristics of neologisms in modern Indo-European languages have been determined; etymological and historical aspects of neology have been specified; formation models of new lexis in different branches have been found out. Within the completed planned theme 2 monographs and 32 articles were published in scientific editions, including 2 articles in foreign editions, 18 reports were made, and a collective monograph of volume over 16 author's sheets was prepared.
