The peculiarities of communication of a psychologist in the conditions of informational society are defined. The modern requirements concerning communicative competence of a psychologist are outlined. The ways and methods regarding experimental approbation toward the components of communicative competence of a psychologist are chosen, namely: - the factors regarding development of personal concern of a psychologist in a communicative interaction with others are determined; - the influence of forms and ways concerning oral presentation of scientific knowledge over peculiarities of scientific product perception by listeners are found out; - cultural interpretative schemes in psychological consulting are outlined; - media competence of a psychologist as a structural component of his or her communicative competence is defined.
