Description

Technologies have been developed for manufacturing complex Al-Mg bimetallic shapes with high specific strength for transport machine-building by the way of determining the regularities of the influence of the direct hot extruding parameters on changing the shape and energy-power parameters of extruding the articles of intricate shape with external layer of aluminum alloy and internal one of magnesium alloy with predicted distribution of metal layers. The technology of manufacturing the intricate bimetallic shapes proposed in the present project concerns the solid articles of aluminum alloy reinforced with rods of light magnesium alloy as well as aluminum tubes with internal cover of magnesium alloy.
