Breeding and seed production of soft winter wheat. Goal of research. To create a variety of winter wheat area for Polesye and Northern forest steppe of Ukraine which are competitive because of yields and product quality and with increased resistance to biotic (diseases of root, stem, leaf and ear) and abiotic (lodging, adverse conditions, overwintering, germination grains per ear) conditions of cultivation area. Research Methods. The main method of creating original material still is genetic recombination using intraspecies and interspecies hybridization and individual selection. Elaboration of breeding material held on the full circuit selection process. All monitoring and evaluation of breeding material in nurseries at various levels investigated by the method of state testing. Research results and their novelty. The results of breeding nursery show significant variation in yield of wheat within 60-380 g/m linear. The study made of matrykalne research of different hybrid descendant quality of corn. In 2014 year were passed to the state testing of soft winter wheat variety Tsvit Kalynu. It were successfully passed to the state testing varieties of soft winter wheat Pamjaty Hirka, Caesarea poliska.
