Collection and analysis of published and stock materials screening and testing of research methods. The conditions of accumulation features of perspective types of sediments in the Northwest shelf of the Black Sea and the near the Black Sea waters in the Holocene were determined. Contribution of terrigenous, biogenic and authigenic components and changes in their ratio during Holocene sedimentogenesis were reviewed.
