The energy efficiency of using high-pressure hydrogen, obtained by applying a high-pressure electrolyzer to the flow rate of a geothermal well, as well as using a geothermal coolant to operate a geothermal power plant, has been determined. It is shown that the technical and economic performance of a geothermal power plant can be improved by adjusting the flow rate using hydrogen technology. Methods have also been developed for increasing the efficiency of using non-productive wells by applying thermoelectric elements and hydrolyzing water in the well.
