The object of the study is the preparation of future specialists in physical education and sports for professional activities in higher education institutions. The purpose of the research is to provide theoretical substantiation, development and experimental verification of the system of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher education institutions. The practical significance of the results of the study is that the system of professional training of bachelors from physical education and sports was introduced into the practice of higher education institutions; the model of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports for professional activity was developed and introduced into the activity of higher education institutions. Practical recommendations of the research can be used by teachers of physical education in work with students of higher education, conducting of classes on the courses of professional development by teachers of physical education. The scientific novelty of the research is that: - pedagogical conditions of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher education institutions have been scientifically substantiated; – received further development: scientific representations and theoretical foundations on the organization of educational and cognitive activities of future specialists in physical education and sports as a specific component of the professional training of specialists in physical education and sports; professional training, in particular its functions and possibilities regarding the formation of the readiness of future specialists in physical education and sports for professional activities; - Improved: content of future bachelor training in physical education and sports. The field of use is higher education.
