 The experience of formation of external and internal dumps during the development of mineral deposits is analyzed, taking into account the restoration of secondary ecosystems on them. Systematized ecological factors of secondary ecosystems formation in the areas disturbed by mining operations. The classification of technogenic deposits is offered and the regularities of change of physical and mechanical properties of the rock base of the technogenic massif in time and space that will allow to determine their naturalness of further use are established. Удосконалені методичні основи формування фронту розкривних та відвальних робіт при створені додаткової ємності внутрішнього відвалу шляхом збільшення результуючого кута його відкосу, що забезпечить зменшення залишкового виробленого простору та збільшення площі для відновлення вторинних екосистем на поверхні відвалу.
