 Zhydachiv district of Lviv region still remains little known in the tourism industry of Ukraine. However, many well-known national and world figures come from the settlements of the present district. Among them: the founder of the Polish literary language, a famous philosopher, writer, polemicist of the XVI century. Arthur Ray; Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky; prominent Polish artist Arthur Grodner; Ukrainian linguist, ethnographer, historian Omelyan Partytsky; German literary critic Arthur Zelib and others. During the national liberation movements and competitions, the Zhydachiv region gave Ukraine to Yaroslav Stetsko, Mykola Lebed, Petro Oliynyk, the Horyn brothers, and others. Zhydachiv district has significant historical, cultural and natural resources, which are the basis for the successful development of various types of tourism (religious, cultural, cognitive, sentimental, ethnic, rural, green, nostalgic, etc.). The real base gives grounds to offer the guests of the district attractive cultural places with picturesque nature, exquisite architecture, monuments, folk life, crafts and handicrafts. Success in the market of tourist services can be added by newly created tourist products, such as: local thematic tourist routes, the possibility of temporary accommodation in rural estates with the involvement of master classes and a number of other comprehensive recreational and health offers. The growing tourist interest in the area encourages the creation of such a tourist product that would fully represent the local culture - through historical facts, the natural environment, events, monuments, folk crafts, crafts, occupations, festivals. Modern practice shows that tourism is closely related to various sectors of the economy, which basically contribute to the international, national, cultural, educational, ethnic, economic, social, religious and other important areas of development of Ukraine.
