The object of research is welding and hardening technologies of pipelines and the latest composite nanostructured materials and coatings, the subject - features of welding and hardening technologies used for pipelines, as well as patterns of structure and properties of the latest composite and nanostructured materials and coatings. The purpose of the work is to improve the existing technologies of welding and strengthening of pipelines and to create new composite, nanostructured materials and coatings with a high level of physical and mechanical characteristics and wear resistance. Research methods: metallographic analysis, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray phase analysis, determination of abrasion resistance and mechanical properties, experimental and theoretical methods for determining the stress-strain state. The work is aimed at improving welding technologies and strengthening pipelines by establishing correlations between their energy parameters under different load conditions (static, pulse, fatigue, etc.), as well as establishing the features of silicon carbide ceramics with the addition of nanodisperse carbides in transition metals and transition metals by using multicomponent systems based on refractory carbides (borides) and high-alloy steels.
