 In the project, a set of important theoretic and practical problems has been analyzed. Especially, the development of the Russian language in the synchronic and diachronic context taking into account the cultural, political and social aspects. Various approaches to language interaction were explored. The main vectors of the development of Russian and Ukrainian were identified, especially lexicon, ethnophraseology, and grammatical structure of the Russian language.
