Object of study- the requirements of environmental and sanitary and epidemiological legislation of Ukraine, the strategy of state environmental policy of Ukraine till 2030. Subject of study- measures to improve the ecological state of environmental pollution in the area affected by the road. Purpose of study – development of “Set of measures for 2022 - 2025 to improve the environmental condition of the environment during the construction, current repairing and maintenance of public roads of state importance” document. Research methods - analytical, information retrieval, instrumental, laboratory and computational. The following tasks were consistently solved during the study: instrumental measurements of the parameters of the road impact on the roadside environment (road H-24 was considered as an example), namely, concentrations of pollutants in the airwere measured, concentrations of pollutants in the soil were determined, the content of pollutants in surface waters was determined, measurements of noise near residential buildings from the traffic flows were performed, measurement p rotocols were drawn up; “Complex of measures for 2022 – 2025” document was developed, the first edition of which was sent for consideration to the road services in the regions, comments of which were received, processed and considered in the final version of the document.
