The object of research - the safety of mining operations in the excavation areas of coal mines. The purpose of the work is to approve the "Project of isolated methane removal from the produced space of 883 lava outside the excavation section of the rigid pipeline due to the general mine depression" of the mine “Zakhidno-Donbasska” PSD "Mine management Ternivske" PJSC "DFEK Pavlohradvugillya". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods mat. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining characteristics of the excavation section 883 of the lava of the mine “Zakhidno-Donbasska” PSD "Mine management Ternivske" PJSC "DFEK Pavlohradvugillya" were analyzed. "Recommendations for ensuring the gas safety of the 883 lava excavation section using a direct-flow ventilation scheme, type 3-B with isolated methane removal from the produced space outside the excavation section via a rigid pipeline due to the general mine depression" were developed. The project of isolated methane removal from the produced space of 883 lava of the C8n formation of the mine “Zakhidno-Donbasska” PSD "Mine management Ternivske" PJSC "DFEK Pavlohradvugillya" outside the excavation section of the security. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, the safety of mining operations is ensured, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
