Selection and separation of coal samples from coalbed d4 along 2nd south and 3rd south belt roads of block 7 in zones of geological displacements of Mine office “Pokrovske” were done. With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal from coal bed d4 along 2nd south and 3rd south belt roads of block 7 in zones of geological displacements is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion. Based on the results of the performed work, Final statement was made and transferred to the mine.
