Methods – clinical and radiological, microbiological, statistical.It was established that decamethoxine demonstrates clearly expressed virulicidal activity in vitro against the model strain coronavirus IBV, and its cytotoxic effect depends on the type of cell culture. An interaction of decamethoxine with the active center of the main protease (Mpro) of IBV was proved and a high degree of structural similarity between Mpro in IBV and SARS-CoV-2 was revealed. It was established that aminocaproic acid showes in vitro low toxicity and antiviral activity.The algorithm for etiologic diagnostic of CAP caused by coronaviruses or their combination with bacterials includes a complex of clinical-instrumental and laboratory studies, the scope of which is determined by the severity of the CAP course, by the existence and nature of complications. The scheme of microbiological identification of the main causative agents of CAP includes modern diagnostic rapid tests(RT) in combination with molecular biological and classical bacteriological diagnosis. This scheme makes it possible to establish the etiological pathogen in 89,0% of patients in a short period of time (10-15min) and to prescribe etiotropic therapy in time. It was proven the possibility of using digital processing of thorax CT images of patients with COVID-19 by using the U-Net neural network.A method of non-specific prevention of CAP has been developed, and to prevent COVID-19 in contact persons, by using the decamethoxine.
