 A methodology for researching the process of interaction of a high-speed working body with the soil has been developed and the parameters for determining the high-speed working bodies of active trench diggers have been substantiated. The method and methodology of researching the tip of the wedger equipped with an elastically deformed executive element and testing the end working body of the trencher are proposed. The results of the study of the operation of equipment with a screw working body formed the basis for the creation of a methodology for determining their parameters and operating modes. Also, a methodology for researching the influence of production factors and technological conditions on the operation of manual machines has been created.
