The pathogenic complex of seeds was dominated by fungi of the genus Helminthosporium spp. and Penicillium spp., while Fusarium spp. was not detected, which indicates a generally low level of primary infection. The use of fungicides: Insur Perform, hp (0.5 l/t) and Kinto Duo, hp (2.5 l/t) provided effective control of pathogens in the early stages of ontogenesis and contributed to the formation of productive crops. The drug Insur Perform, hp, (0.5 l/ha) increased the yield by 0.4–0.5 t/ha, compared to the control. The profitability level in these variants reached 74.2–87.3%, which confirms the economic feasibility of using modern pesticides in the technology of growing winter barley.
