У магістерській роботі розкрито теоретичні основи здійснення народовладдя в Україні. Визначено поняття "народовладдя" його форми та механізми. Встановлено, що народовладдя є широкою концепцію, котра включає в себе демократичний спосіб здійснення влади народом. Дано характеристику процесу відродження народовладдя після здобуття Україною незалежності. Виявлено актуальні проблеми здійснення народовладдя в сучасній Українській державі. З'ясовано, що ключовими проблемами, які перешкоджають ефективному здійсненню народовладдя в Україні на сучасному етапі, є недостатня прозорість та підзвітність суспільних інститутів, корупція, дефіцит демократії, брак політичних інновацій, повільне економічне зростання та соціальна нерівність. Визначено перспективні напрямки розвитку інституту народовладдя в Україні The master's thesis defines and substantiates theoretical and methodological provisions that solve the urgent task of the scientific field of knowledge in public administration and management, which is to determine the peculiarities of the exercise of people's power in Ukraine in historical retrospect. The study reveals the theoretical foundations of the exercise of people's power in Ukraine. The concept of " people's power ", its forms and mechanisms are defined. In particular, the author defines the content of the concept of "people's power" as a broad concept that includes a democratic way of exercising power by the people, both through elected representatives in state and self-governing bodies, and directly - through elections, referendums, and other non-electoral forms of citizen participation in political and other public decision-making.
