 The object of the research is the technical condition of the control systems of small (undersized) vessels with the participation of which an emergency event took place. The purpose of the work is to provide scientific and methodological support for an expert study of the technical condition of the control systems of small vessels of a modern level. Research methods - general-cognitive, formal-logical, theoretical, experimental, instrumental. Theoretical and practical results - a scientific report and a technique for carrying out examinations of the technical condition of the control systems of small vessels. The results of the work are effectively implemented by introducing the latest methodology into expert practice and its further use.
