A purpose of work is an improvement of methodological bases and development of methodical recommendations as evaluated by efficiency of application of mechanism of state support and stimulation of innovative activity in Ukraine. Research receptions are the methods of formal logic, analysis and synthesis, content analysis, comparative and statistical analysis. Scientifically-analytical materials concerning definition of a condition and prospects of Ukraine in the innovative environment of Europe are prepared. Methods of the state support and stimulation of innovative activity in Ukraine in 2001-2008 are analysed. The system of indicators is generated according to results of stimulation of innovative activity at different levels of management, on which base the prepared corresponding project of methodical recommendations.
