Description

In Ukraine 3 species of Trichinella identified: Trichinella britovi, Trichinella nativa and Trichinella spiralis. Mixed infestations T. britovi-T. spiralis were found in the south part of Ukraine. Dominant species is T. britovi, parasites of this species were detected in 90% of the animals infested.
