A methodology has been developed for an object-oriented design of a complex technical system - “producer-supplier-consumer” of thermal energy in the utility sector; for this purpose, the following has been created: a structural diagram of the object of research, a systematized database of environmental and energy-saving technologies, technical means and equipment for their implementation, methods of environmental and energy diagnostics of objects of producers and consumers of thermal energy, methods of assessing the impact of boiler plants and CHP on the environment.
