 Despite a century and a half of research into Ukrainian pottery, many aspects of the pottery culture of the population of Ukraine remain little or completely unexplored. In particular, this applies to the study of the personal contribution of outstanding masters in the development of Ukrainian pottery, because history is not nameless, it is created by people and behind each historical event are certain people. For thousands of years, more than one generation of folk artists has lived and worked in the Ukrainian ethnic territories, preserving and increasing the wealth of potters. Therefore, one of the primary tasks of cultural ceramics is the search, systematization, and introduction into scientific circulation of information about the creative achievements of individuals (potters, painters, toy masters, ceramic artists, amateur artists) and their role in the gradual traditional artistic culture of Ukrainians. Implementation of the theme will contribute to the formation of ethnic identity, preservation of national identity, meeting the national and cultural needs of the people of Ukraine.
