The purpose of the work is to develop a system for meeting the needs of breeding poultry products on the basis of experimental farms of the National Academy of Sciences, taking into account scientific and methodological approaches and modern production and logistics trends. Research methods - the analysis of statistical information on the species composition and number of breeding poultry breeders in different regions of Ukraine was carried out using official data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the State Register of Breeding Subjects in Animal Husbandry and own data. Systematization and ranking of data was carried out using a complex approach, abstract-logical method and system analysis. Various methods of analysis were also used: zootechnical (determination of productive and reproductive qualities of poultry); economic (calculation of economic efficiency); systemic. A perspective program for the development of the experimental farm "Preservation of the State Poultry Gene Pool" has been developed for the period from 2023 to 2030, as an element of the comprehensive program for the development of poultry in farms and private peasant farms of Ukraine for 2021-2030, using the potential of the experimental and production base of the NAAS. Models and detailed business plans have been prepared for the organization and operation of a breeding poultry enterprise for keeping egg-producing chickens Birkivska barvysta and Slobidsky and meat-egg Hercules on the basis of research farms of the NAAS. The results of the NDR are ready for implementation in the State Poultry Research Station of the NAAS and its experimental farm "Preservation of the State Poultry Gene Pool", experimental farms of the NAAS, micro-, small-scale and household farms of the population.
