Description

The work analyzes methods for determining oil losses due to evaporation during storage in ground tanks. The possibility of using methods for the conditions of Ukraine was evaluated. An analytical study of the quantitative loss of oil from evaporation during storage in 2000 m3 tanks in the climatic conditions of Odesa region was carried out using the selected methodology. Determined losses from "small" and "big breaths" of tanks. An analysis of the influence of the physical properties of oil (density, boiling point and saturated vapor pressure) on the amount of evaporation losses was carried out.
