Purpose of the study: to increase the effectiveness of complex treatment for ovarian cancer and its recurrences through the use of hormone therapy based on the study of the expression level of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the tumor and the content of sex hormones in the blood of patients. Research methods and equipment: clinical, radiological, immunological, morphological, statistical; diagnostic ultrasound device CHISON i7 "Chison Medical Imaging Co., Ltd."; enzyme immunoassay analyzer Stat Fax-303 Plus, manufacturer "Awarenesstechnologinc" USA. Theoretical and practical results: it was established that the use of neoadjuvant polychemotherapy in combination with hormone therapy leads to a significant increase in the tumor regression rate (84,6% versus 55%, respectively) and a decrease in the progression rate (15,4% versus 45%, respectively). Novelty: for the first time, a technology has been developed for the complex treatment of patients with stage I-IV ovarian cancer, where the appointment of hormone therapy depends on the level of expression of steroid hormone receptors and the determination of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the tumor, which makes it possible to optimize the treatment process through an individual approach to each specific patient. Effectiveness of implementation: the proposed treatment regimen increased the two-year survival rate of patients after neoadjuvant polychemotherapy by 2 times (85,7% vs. 39,6% without hormone therapy) and by 1.5 times (86,7% vs. 59,3% without hormone therapy) after adjuvant polychemotherapy. The field of application: oncology.  Product Description popup.authors Artamonova Neonila O. Dolhaia Oksana V. Kantsedal Olena M. Kruhova Iryna M. Lanko Liliia H. Lukashkova Olha P.
