In accordance with the task of present scientific-research work have developed the preparation material analytical normative documents a new originative cardioprotective preparation - fluorine-containing KATP channel opener Flokalin for National Pharmacological Centre of Ukraine, investigated of their innocence and specific action. Investigation of innocence this drug have shown that Flokalin over a long leading not to cause appreciable abnormality of functioning of organs and systens. In experiment with myocardial ischemia-reperfusion has shown that Flokalin had expressed cardioprotective properties: vastly improved cardiac function during reperfusion, in particular, improved recovery the contractive activities of myocardium, prevented appearance of reperfusion vasoconstriction in ischemic hearts, increased minute volume of blood and decreased general peripheral resistance of vessels. It has shown that under modeling experimental acute ischemia-reperfusion Flokalin had the antioxidant properties, reduced free radical production, protected the structure intracellular organelles and limited infarct size of heart (by 42%) compare with the control group.5635
