In this paper katalohizuvalysya leading contemporary methods of literary analysis. Most relevant to the problem were chosen methods based schools system, synergistic, komparatyviskoho historical and literary (cultural and historical) analysis. It is proved that the situation becomes unstable since current research works written during periods of transition (eg, on the border of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, realism and modernism, and postmodernism). Under such a perspective is studied as a creative legacy of classics in its inonatsionalnomu being and modern works.
