The object of research at this stage is the synthesis of polymer materials with immobilized functional groups-donors of microbiocidal agents, their physical, chemical properties, and various types of biological activity, for further use of such materials to create medical devices of various purposes (medical masks, respirator filters, wound dressings, etc.). Methods of synthesis and analysis of polymers with immobilized N-chlorosulfonamide and peroxyacid groups have been developed, the pronounced antimicrobial properties of such materials have been proved, and in vivo reparative activity for the most promising samples has been studied on simulated infected and uninfected wounds of laboratory animals. The possibility of obtaining high-purity chloroactive solutions by activating granular forms of synthesized polymers with special activators has been proved. Polymer materials with immobilized active chlorine in the form of staple fiber and nonwoven fabric have been synthesized in an amount sufficient for further tests.
