Problems in improving acoustic emission apparatus, and adapting a special design - experimental method for analysing the mechanical behaviour of honeycomb structures are solved; the basic laws of buckling failure kinetics of honeycomb structures under static and cyclic loading are established. It is shown that using these laws will allow for a more proven approach to designing and selecting the techniques of manufacturing honeycomb structures, and to estimate the strength reliability and the service live at all stages of the life cycle.
