The first is a study of the acceleration of electrons by wakefields, which are excited in dielectric and plasma-dielectric structures having a rectangular cross-section by a sequence of clusters of relativistic electron bunches, obtained on a resonant electronic accelerator «Almaz-2M». To increase the amplitude of the wakefields we will use three approaches: the coherent addition of the fields of bunches; the coherent addition of radial modes of wakefields (this feature is especially significant for rectangular waveguides), the accumulation of wakefields of all bunches, preventing the removal of field with group velocity (resonator concept). To do these investigations the experimental installations based on rectangular waveguides R26, R22 and R13 will be constructed and upgraded with different dielectric fillings (Teflon, quartz) and linear electron accelerator "Almaz-2M"; the amplitude-frequency characteristics of the excitable wakefields will be investigated; a model of an accelerator based on a five-layer rectangular dielectric resonator with two vacuum channels for drive and accelerating bunches will be constructed and a transformation coefficient in this structure will be measured. The second objective of this work is to create a modern experimental base based on a terawatt laser system for its use in accelerators on dielectric structures using surface waves and chips. At the first stage, it is planned to increase the power of the existing laser installation to the terawatt level, optimization of its characteristics. At the second stage, it is planned to develop new technologies for creating miniature-accelerating systems and conducting initial experiments on accelerating particles. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-10 Close
