The research will focus on the possibilities of increasing the properties of solid solutions and intermetallic strengthening phases. In particular, the nature of the athermal plateau on the temperature dependence of the yield strength and the perspective of increasing the working temperatures of complexly-alloyed solid solutions will be analyzed. The possibilities of the combined effect of complex alloying on the behavior of the matrix as well as the strengthening phases of these alloys (solid solutions) will be found. Physical principles of the development of new materials with low specific weight, in particular, new alloys on aluminum base, super high temperature resistant titanium alloys and high temperature alloys on titanium aluminides base will be elaborated. The results of the study of polycomponent high-entropy alloys (HEAs) will be the fundamental basis for the development of new materials with absolute and specific characteristics exceeding the best heat-resistant materials. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-10 Close
