Any modern programmable logic controller can be used as a data collection and processing device. Data transmission between the "Information and Measurement Complex" and the data acquisition and processing device is carried out using the MODBUS (ASCII) or MODBUS (RTU) protocols, or to configure any unknown hexadecimal or text protocol.
