This included systematic numerical analysis of several most promising configurations of graphene metasurfaces built on the finite and infinite gratings of graphene strips placed on the dielectric substrates. In particular, we studied the effect of the substrate thickness and material and the grating period on the characteristics of the terahertz wave scattering and absorption by such metasurfaces. The simulations were performed using the method of analytical regularization. The developed numerical algorithms have mathematically guaranteed convergence, that allows to calculate the scattering and absorption of waves with controlled accuracy. This study had demonstrated that any grating of graphene strips on a dielectric slab is a composite open resonator, able to support plasmon mode, slab modes, and lattice modes. By manipulating the parameters of graphene, one can tune the frequency of plasmon-mode resonances and control the scattered and absorbed power. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
