The proposed study aims to clarify temporal and functional-stylistic markers of Ukrainian linguistic identity; national and linguistic identity of Ukrainians in the situation of bilingualism, trends in eliminating distortions of Ukrainian linguistic consciousness caused by Soviet totalitarianism and Russification policy; the role of a stable core of the vocabulary of the Ukrainian language for the preservation of Ukrainian national and linguistic identity; national principles of Ukrainian terminology and professional language, its role as a representative of the achievements of Ukrainian culture, science and production in the international environment; study of different thematic groups of Ukrainian vocabulary and phraseology in historical perspective and comparison with other linguistic objects of other Slavic and non-Slavic communities, elucidation of their national specifics, cultural markings; study of toponymicon of Ukraine to determine the specificity of names, their etymology and significance for the spiritual culture of the Ukrainian people. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
