Registration Date 04-02-2022 Organization Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University popup.description1 By purposefully selecting the components of the investigated systems, we are going to obtain the qualitatively new materials with improved properties based on the conclusions from previous researches. The work will be aimed at obtaining crystals of the detected phases and glasses of the studied systems, studying their properties. This is characterized by an integrated approach and includes: 1) the development of the technology for obtaining glassy samples and matrices based on them; the technologies for obtaining the single crystals; 2) phase analysis of synthesized samples using various research methods (X-ray phase, microstructural analyses); 3) obtaining of the Raman spectra of undoped and doped REM glasses, identification of the oscillating modes; 4) the creation of a model of the local structure for glasses of different compositions, the clarification of the role of impurities of the REM, crystalline and amorphous matrix; 5) the investigation of the optical absorption in the visible and near-IR range (400–2000 nm), optical transmission in the range 7800–350 cm-1 using a Fourier spectrometer; 6) study of photoluminescence (PL) spectra in the visible and IR ranges, identification of radiation centers and analysis of the mechanisms responsible for the occurrence of PL bands. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
