The pipelines that ensure the operation of steam generators include the main circulation pipelines, pipelines of "hot" steam and feed water of WWER-1000 reactor units. The pipelines are operated at a temperature of 230-320°C and a pressure of 80-160 kgf/cm2. The pipelines are made of low-alloy steels 10ГН2МФА, 16ГС and carbon steel Ст20, which age during long-term operation in the above temperature range. Control of normative properties of metal during scheduled inspections of pipelines characterizes their efficiency at the time of inspection and does not guarantee trouble-free operation during continued operation. Regulatory properties can have equal values at different stages of metal aging and different dynamics of their changes during continued operation.
