Registration Date 18-04-2022 Organization Institute of Physics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The purpose of research is to study structures with magnetic or electrodipole order, with the peculiarities of their electronic structure. In particular, it will reversal of spontaneous polarization (P) in thin films of multiaxial ferro- and antiferroelectrics during surface shielding by moving ions or by photoexcitation of carriers that form a space charge. The evolution of their domain structure will be studied. The regularities of the properties of the new magnetic materials with "exchange acceleration of spin dynamics" and their application in spintronics and magnetic electronics will be studied. The main focus will be on ferrimagnets, in which this acceleration takes place near the point of the spins compensation of sub-lattices. Practically important tasks will be studied. In particular, it will the dynamics of domain walls and the possibility of using solitons such as magnon droplets for nanogenerators pumped by spin current at frequencies around hundreds of GHz. Theoretical analysis of real magnetic systems will be conducted, and will developed a program of practical identification of the expected effects and possibility of their implementation. The properties of magnetic nanoparticles in vicinity of magnetic ordering will be studied to elucidate the peculiarities of their behaviours; the study of the magnetic properties of magnetic elastomers with magnetic particles in the elastic matrix to study the magneto-rheological effect. Exciton effects in double semiconductor quantum wells (QW), one of which is semimagnetic, will be studied to detect the redistribution of electric charge between QW when they are photoexcited by light with different energies of quantum. It is planed to consider and compare dimensional effects in objects with unusual features of electronic structure, such as epitaxial nanofilms of semi-metallic bismuth, as well as to establish the impact of their features on electrophysical, magnetoelectric, and magnetotransport characteristics. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
