Induction of structural and numerical aberrations will be evaluated in so-called micronucleus experiments. The results will provide evidence if long-term effects which are causally related to chromosomal damage; in particular, cancer and infertility are associated with depression and PTSD and if treatment leads to an improvement of the situation. d) Telomere length (TL) will be determined of PMNC fractions isolated from blood donations. After DNA isolation the telomeric content (TC) will be determined by qPCR.
