Registration Date 17-01-2023 Organization National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy popup.description1 The aim is to comprehend the essence and social orientation of the rule of law and social state, their state and perspectives of implementation in Ukraine, overcoming contradictions in understanding rule of law and social state. The formation of the rule of law has taken place in illiberal society, however under the influence of liberal ideas, and formation of new understanding on natural law principles. This hypothesis has been proved thus providing grounds for the formation of starting position of the research on distinction of law and statute as a methodological prerequisite of rule of law principle. This position will provide grounds for analysis and conclusions regarding the correlation of the rule of law and social state which produces (legal drafting) and implements (legal implementation) statutes. We aim to cover a wide range of sources, including foreign ones, as well as to apply a wide range of research methods. The results of the research will be applied in new draft laws, public bodies activity as well as activities of other professional bodies and organizations. Practical value of the research will be reflected in the form of comprehension of the rule of law and social state which will provide grounds for more active application of these concepts by lawyers, politicians and journalists. The results of the research will be used in the academic research by the instructors of the Kyiv-Mohyla Law School Department for Legal Theory and Public Law as well as in students' research activities. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
