Methodological recommendations will be developed for the identification and further application of key population parameters in the process of monitoring populations of plant and animal species of different types of life forms, spatial and age structure, different levels of vitality and self-sufficiency. The proposed approaches and methods will make it possible to assess the state and dynamics of populations without disturbing their structural and functional organization, to optimize the observation process and to avoid false conclusions regarding the prospects of the population. The results of the NDR will be a significant contribution to the theory and practice of population ecology of populations of rare species of plants and animals, the methodology and practice of protection and active preservation of biotic diversity. The development of the principles of the applied application of population monitoring will allow to optimize the process of assessing the state of the population, identifying changes in their structural and functional organization, establishing the level of self-recovery, as well as justifying appropriate measures for the preservation and protection of populations of rare species. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
