First of all, it is worth paying attention to updating the functionally outdated terminological apparatus, which is in modern media and scientific circulation. It is necessary to reconsider the initial and modern meaning of the terms "fascism", "Nazism", "Banderivtsi" in the general historical context, as well as to return to correcting the definitions of Ukrainian traitors and collaborators imposed by Russian propaganda, relying on historical sources of the resistance of the Ukrainian people. Despite the total imperial pressure and control, these ideas sprout every time in Ukraine, because the concepts of state independence and freedom are synonymous. Returning to the consideration of these issues, it is worth paying attention to the search for factual material in the documentary database on the history of the Second World War. Such involved concepts as the policy of "denazification" in Nazi Germany, as well as the ideologues of the "Great Victory" and the "Great Patriotic War" require clarification. Russian aggression in Ukraine is the process of maturing a change in the world order. One of the tasks of the scientists of the department and invited authors of the encyclopedic study will be an in-depth description of the order established during and after the Second World War. One of the main driving factors influencing the post-war changes in Europe was the Nuremburg trial, where Nazism was condemned, but not communism. An important task of this topic is to find a parallel with modern Russian tactics in war and politics in the occupied territories and Soviet repressive practices. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
