MT Rylsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 The purpose of the scientific work is to multiply documentary-factographic and analytical works on the history and artistic criticism of Ukrainian fine arts of the Middle Ages, New and Modern times and Modernity, as well as to highlight certain aspects of the process of adapting the artistic experience of the specified historical periods to the people of some other countries and Europe. analysis of the self-reflection of domestic artists, which is reflected in their written heritage (autobiographies, memoirs, letters) and creative reaction to topical events of our time. New factual material related to individual phenomena, monuments and creative personalities of national art will be introduced into scientific circulation. During the research, clarification and deepening of the interpretation of the ideological characteristics of artistic works, the creative identity of individual artists of Ukraine, and the delineation of problematic moments of the modern artistic process are foreseen. The methodological basis of the research will be the principles of historicism and a systematic approach to the coverage of the phenomena of the past based on the comprehensive use of sources, which will enable an objective theoretical and historical-artistic understanding of the creative activity of Ukrainian artists of the specified period. Taking into account the specificity and degree of study of the topic, it is planned to apply an interdisciplinary systematic approach, using the methods of archival heuristics, classification and criticism of sources, historical-chronological, descriptive, formal and comparative art analysis. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
