The project aims to improve the quantity and the quality of the resources fit for reuse and recycling by fostering separate collection of waste. The project will further provide a basis for planning and carrying out sorting analyses of MSW showing the (minimum) requirements for the sorting site, the personnel and the necessary equipment in order to reflect the best possible picture of the waste composition in this region. Hence the project aims in the development of a MSW system in municipalities of the Poltava region, taking into account the acquired experience of more experienced countries like Austria and other EU countries.
