The rapidly growing level of design developments in various branches of industries puts forward new requirements for the creation of materials with high technological, functional and operational characteristics. These materials include new generation materials created using various technologies: nanostructured materials, high- and medium-entropy alloys, polymer nanocomposites. Due to their unique properties (record strength with a sufficient reserve of plasticity, corrosion and wear resistance, biocompatibility, etc.), they have wide prospects for practical use in such fields as defense, aerospace, energetics, cryomedicine, etc. To achieve the goal, a comprehensive study of the mechanical, micromechanical and acoustic properties of the latest materials in a wide range of low and ultra-low temperatures is envisaged. As a result of research, new data on low-temperature mechanical, micromechanical and acoustic properties of a number of new materials, which are missing in the world literature, will be obtained. They should become the basis for scientifically substantiated recommendations in the creation of new structurally modified materials. The obtained results will contribute to a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of low-temperature plastic deformation of finely dispersed structural materials. They can also serve as a useful reference material when choosing materials to work in low and ultra-low temperature conditions.
