The purpose of the work: the study of neologisms of Germanic (English, German), Romance (French, Italian, Spanish) languages with a projection on the Ukrainian language; research on ways to nominate new realities in the sphere of social and political life and ecology, as well as semantic shifts that occur in existing words under the influence of scientific and technical progress, globalisation processes, new means of communication, etc.; analysis of the functioning of neologisms of the socio-political and ecological sphere in the light of their pragmatic influence on the addressees of the discourse and the construction of socially significant ideologies; determination of the specifics of the translation of foreign neologisms (primarily terms) into the Ukrainian language and the development of relevant methodological guidelines. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
